Make A Difference To Local Lives in Shrewsbury

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which opened a charity shop in the Darwin Shopping Centre last year, could not operate without its trusted family of volunteers.

The shop helps raise money to fund local lifesaving air ambulance missions, but could be forced to close on certain days due to low volunteer numbers. The team is therefore asking the Shrewsbury community to find out about the Covid-19 secure volunteering opportunities available in-store.

Those interested could assist with sorting items for sale, manning the till, dressing the shop window, assisting shoppers and highlighting the work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Volunteering could be just a couple of hours per week, and there are many benefits including meeting new people in a safe environment, retail experience, giving back to your local community, and you could gain qualifications.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s volunteers help save lives by donating just a little of their time to the service, if you could spare a little time to help make future missions possible, then get in touch.
