London style office hub, “Lipstick And Freelance”, opens in heart of Shrewsbury

Lipstick and Freelance, a flexible co-working hub for freelancers, start-ups and growing businesses, will officially open in Shrewsbury on Monday 27th March. The offices, positioned above Carluccios in The Square in Shrewsbury, couldn’t have a more ideal or central location. The clean, bright, and airy space has breath taking views down on to the majestic Old Market Hall, built in 1596. Individuals and businesses interested in viewing the space are invited to join founders Anthony and Hannah between 8:30 and 10am on Thursday 6th April for a continental breakfast and tour of the premises. The offering is completely unique to Shrewsbury with desks available for £5 a day with no minimum monthly booking fee. Choose however many dates work for you, and you can chop and change every month to suit your lifestyle. Alternatively book a permanent space for £100 per month. London style hot desking arrives in Shropshire, but at great rates!

Hannah Suckley, one of the founders:

“Lipstick & Freelance offers a more contemporary take on traditional shared office space and serviced offices. We wanted to create a space that better fits the working pattern of freelancers and small businesses today. People today fit in their work around a busy schedule, one day they might work from home, another day from a coffee shop. Lipstick and Freelance adds another option on a ‘dip-in, dip-out’ basis. Some of our co-workers work from home a few days a week but use us one day a week just to get a change of atmosphere”.

Lipstick & Freelance offers a relaxed yet professional work space and a contemporary vibe. With wonderful views over The Square in the heart of Shrewsbury it’s the perfect location to pop in, grab a hot desk and do a day’s work with no hassle. Shrewsbury’s High Street, with all its shops, is also on your doorstep during that lunchtime break! There are kitchen facilities and a break-out space for lunchtimes, plus over-night storage for laptops and bags.

“Our aim is to have a blend of hot-desk space and businesses who will be based here permanently” continues Hannah. “Hot-desks are just £5 per day and include Wi-Fi, tea, coffee and use of the kitchen and break-out space. Desks can be booked online via the Lipstick and Freelance website where the booking system is updated in real time so you can check availability even for a last minute booking”.

Lipstick and Freelance encourages individuals and freelancers to pop in and view the workspace. Simply email [email protected] to request a viewing.

Individuals and businesses interested in attending the open morning breakfast on Thursday 6th April are requested to confirm attendance before 31st March by emailing [email protected]
