Housebuilder gives spring wreaths to residents of new homes in Telford

A housebuilder has handed out free spring wreaths to help customers decorate the front doors of their new homes in Telford.

Vistry Mercia offered householders a choice of one of three colourful wreaths at the company’s The Quarters @ Redhill location, where homes are being built under the Linden Homes and Bovis Homes brands.

Homeowners were able to select between a wreath of artificial tulips, lavender or white roses and eucalyptus.

Freya Halsall, marketing manager for Vistry Mercia, said: “Everyone is very happy that spring has arrived and has brought with it longer days and more sunshine. 

“To help mark the arrival of this exciting time of year, we thought it would be a nice gesture for us to offer our customers a wreath to help decorate their front doors. Such wreaths are very popular these days and it was really lovely to chat to so many residents who came to the sales office to collect one for their home.

“We also thought it would be a good idea to have choice of wreaths to try to account for personal tastes and also to ensure that not all the wreaths on the development are the same. Different people chose different wreaths and the splashes of colour that they have added to the development are fabulous and are guaranteed to put a smile on people’s faces.”

Vistry Mercia is building a total of 450 new homes at The Quarters @ Redhill on a 76-acre site off the A5.

The Bovis Homes part of the development will comprise 144 new homes, alongside 148 Linden Homes properties, with a mix of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses being offered for sale across the two sites.

A further 158 homes at the development will be allocated as affordable housing for local people through rent or shared ownership.

Freya said: “House-hunters who buy a new home at The Quarters @ Redhill before Sunday 30 April can choose from three offers.

“We are offering a mortgage holiday of up to £10,000, with the contribution being made towards a customer’s mortgage upon completion of their purchase.

“Alternatively, customers using Home Exchange – a part exchange deal which allows us to take the strain out of the house-buying process by buying the purchaser’s house from them – can receive £2,500 in holiday vouchers towards a wonderful break.

“Or buyers could take up the offer of the services of our expert interior design team who will work with customers to tailor their home to create the house of their dreams.

Meanwhile, there’s a selection of three, four and five-bedroom Bovis Homes properties available to reserve, priced from £259,995.
