Greenfield IT Recruitment Sponsors Saha Sabres

With the football season in full swing and as winter starts to bite, Saha Sabres U15 girls’ football team were over the moon with their new hoodies that arrived just in time for Christmas, provided by their kit sponsor Greenfield IT Recruitment.

Head coach Nick Blakeway and his assistant Neil France also received a matching hoodie to keep them warm on the touchline and during training.

Nick said, “at this time of year we have to battle the elements and it's sometimes a struggle to keep the girls motivated when it's freezing cold outside, it just makes the job a bit easier as now they have the right kit to keep warm when the weather turns chilly.”

Steve Moran, one of the Directors at Greenfield added: “I’m just really glad they like them, we have to do what we can to keep the girls engaged in their football activities, one issue for girls football is as the players start to get into their teenage years the number of teams in the league starts to really dwindle, it's pleasing to see these girls stick together since they were in the u8’s”.

The guys from Greenfield went out of their way to deliver the hoodies personally to all the girls home addresses on the weekend before Christmas, each one had all been wrapped up in Christmas wrapping paper with their squad numbers on which was a nice touch - commented assistant coach Neil France.

Steve concluded “Nick and Neil do a brilliant job sorting out the training and matches – and then they also go the extra mile by organising socials and team building events such as the recent paintball trip which went down a storm, they deserve a lot of credit for giving up their own time, I am just pleased I can help out by providing some good quality kit.
