Grand Opening of new Severnside Homes at Round Meadow, Wem

At a ribbon cutting ceremony held today Shropshire Councillor Chris Mellings officially opened Severnside Housing’s new homes at Round Meadow, Soulton Road, Wem.

The Parish Council and Severnside have worked closely in partnership to develop this local scheme for the benefit of local people. The homes are of excellent quality and I am delighted to be part of the completion celebrations.”

The development provides 23 new homes for affordable rent and shared ownership and has been delivered in partnership with Wem Rural Parish Council.   Costing in excess of £2.5m, the development was part funded by Shropshire Council, through community-led housing grant, and Social Housing Grant from the Homes and Communities Agency.
