Flower power inspires a unique dining experience

Quirky floral decoration and a Mediterranean-inspired plant-based menu are the centrepiece of a stunning new private dining experience at Weston Park, on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.

The Flower Dome is the latest addition to the dining options at the popular stately home.

The dome is beautifully decorated with a botanical theme, from the ‘lawn’ floor to honeysuckle hanging from the ceiling.

Andrea Webster, Weston Park’s marketing manager, said: “Dining in the Flower Dome is a truly fun and immersive experience which really brings the outside in, and we’re delighted to be able to share it with customers.

“Our head chef, Anna Moore, was inspired by produce from the walled kitchen garden and sunny Mediterranean flavours to create a special plant-based menu to be enjoyed in the Flower Dome – alongside the summer à la carte menu which is already proving popular in the adjacent Granary restaurant.

“Barry Fairhurst has also created a fabulous collection of garden-inspired cocktails to complement the menu, including Beekeepers Balm and Garden Breeze. It’s a real taste of summer, whatever the weather might be doing outside!”

The Flower Dome is available to hire for private dining at lunch and dinner, with the Flower Dome menu served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays alongside the summer à la carte menu.

There is a £60 private hire charge for the Flower Dome, which is taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable. To book your dome, call 01952 852107 or 01952 852100 and speak to a member of the team, or select the Flower Dome booking option online here.

The Flower Dome seats 10 people. There is also a small dome available to hire which seats six, with a private hire charge of £30.

Weston Park’s main restaurant, The Granary, is open for breakfast from 9.30am-11am daily, for lunch from noon to 2.30pm (4pm on Sundays) and dinner from 6pm until 10pm.
