Fiona sets sail with Peakes Travel Elite …

Following a big increase in demand for cruise vacations from clients, Shropshire holiday and travel specialists Peakes Travel Elite has welcomed Fiona Denning of Telford as its new cruise professional.

Peakes Travel Elite, based in a historic building at 11 Mardol in Shrewsbury, is the town’s only family-run independent travel agent and caters for all kinds of requirements from city breaks, through traditional family holidays to short and long haul travel.

Married with three children, Fiona Denning has over two decades experience in global travel but with specific expertise in the cruise sector having personally appraised the Mediterranean, Norway, The Baltics and the Carribbean in a wide variety of large and small cruise ships.

Fiona, commented: “Cruising is a rapidly growing sector in the holiday market and I believe that my detailed knowledge can be passed on to clients to ensure they choose the ideal size and style of ship to suit their individual requirements.

“A wide range of cruises to all areas of the globe now start and finish in the UK which alleviates some people’s concerns at long flights to join ships in far flung destinations.”

Peakes Travel Elite will be hosting a ‘Cruise Spectacular’ at Shrewsbury Town Football Club’s stadium on Saturday 23rd April between 10am and 4pm where a wide variety of displays and information will be on show.
