Fashion show to take centre stage at Autumn wedding fayre

Whether it’s short, long, figure hugging or trailing, Shropshire brides will get all the inspiration they need for their perfect wedding dress at an event later this month.

The Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa in Shrewsbury will be featuring an exclusive fashion show at its Autumn Bridal Fayre on September 27.

Hosted by Shropshire Country Brides, the show will feature the latest styles for 2016 and will give brides and their mothers plenty of ideas for the big day.

Visitors to the fayre, which will run from 11am until 4pm, will also get the opportunity to take a tour of the hotel’s newly revamped function room and refurbished bridal suites and chat to staff about all their wedding requirements.

Hotel general manager Jennifer Sibbald-Wall said: “We are very excited about the forthcoming bridal fayre. It should be a great event for Shropshire couples planning to get married.

“We have in the region of 30 exhibitors attending the event and they will be showcasing everything from flowers and table decorations to beauty products and wedding cars so couples will most certainly go away with lots of exciting ideas for their big day.

“The fashion show will obviously be the highlight and guests will get two chances to watch, with models taking to the catwalk at 12noon and again at 2pm.

“Shropshire Country Brides is one of the area’s leading bridal boutiques and they have carefully selected a range of wedding dresses to suit all shapes and sizes.

“I’m sure it will be a great hit with the guests.”
