A jazz show for those who like jazz, as well as those who don’t, paired with a fine-dining experience. Much Ado about Jazz comes to Upton Magna Memorial Hall on Saturday, November 19.
This unique two-man show is an irresistible combination of classic jazz (think Gershwin and Brubeck), and dry humour incorporating plenty of audience interaction!
The Haughmond, a local coaching inn based in Upton Magna will be serving a two-course meal during the interval of this jazz spectacular. Viewers can enjoy tasty delights prepared by the team behind an AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence 2022.
Musicians Chris Gumbley and Al Gurr will be revisiting some mostly loved jazz classics and will present them in a way that not only involves the audience, but also offers an insight into how jazz musicians work.
Viewers can expect old-school décor, muted lighting and the atmosphere of an underground jazz bar, right here in Shropshire!
This highly entertaining show maintains a high level of musical integrity, and is a must-see for those who love jazz, and those who don’t!
