Ellesmere Farm Estate to hold Christmas Market

The Oteley Estate on the shores of the mere in Ellesmere is holding a Christmas Winter Market on Thursday, December 1.

Following on from a successful event in 2021, the market is free to attend and will be held in the original stable yard. Local businesses will be selling a mixture of gifts, food, and drink products so visitors can enjoy stocking up on Christmas gifts and produce.

Clare Mainwaring, from the family business said, “Last year, our Christmas market was so well received – we were so pleased to play host to visitors getting in the festive spirit!”

“Our Stable Yard will be transformed with twinkling Christmas lights, Christmas music courtesy of some local carol singers, and the warming aroma of mulled wine. We might even be having a visit from Father Christmas himself!”

“We’ll be running a licensed bar, as well as selling warming local refreshments from our Oteley Pop-Up Shop & Café, we’ll also be selling our home-grown meat boxes of beef, lamb, and pork. It’s a great opportunity to pick up on some Christmas gifts, fill up on festive spirit and support local!”

The market is free to attend and will be open from 3pm until 8pm on December 1. Parking will be limited on Oteley Estate, but there will be a shuttle bus service that picks up in Ellesmere to the estate, with more details to follow.
