The Digital Generation

Today’s graduates ‘hit the ground running’ with a portfolio of professional skills, on-line, mobile and social media – join colleagues with the Shropshire Business Partnership (SBP) for breakfast and networking on 22 May and get ready for the Digital Generation.

Event organiser Roy Broad said: “Shropshire is enhancing its reputation as a place to live, learn and work with the arrival of University Centre Shrewsbury, offering postgraduate courses since the autumn 2014 and undergraduate courses from September 2015.

“Professor Clare Schofield and Deputy Provost Paul Kirkbright from UCS will share the opportunities for Shropshire businesses and the wider community that having a University Centre in Shrewsbury brings.

“Shropshire has an increasing need for qualified graduates to join local businesses and remain in the county as their careers take-off. The availability of further and higher education courses in the county is going to make it easier for local employers to recruit and retain excellent graduates”.
