Clun Valley Music returns this December to present a weekend of diverse and dynamic music, including a Junk Percussion workshop and two recitals from world class ensembles.

1pm Aurora Percussion Duo in Recital : A World of Percussion
Performers Delia Stevens and Le Yu have made it their mission to redefine the art of percussion; they perform a recital of spellbinding music, ranging from hypnotic hang drum to the thunder of taiko drumming.
3pm JUNK Percussion! Workshop
All ages and abilities welcome at this fun, interactive and noisy afternoon of music making presented by award winning ensemble the Aurora Percussion Duo. Bring along any 'junk' you might have lying about the house and learn how to transform anything and everything into a musical instrument, and how to create a co-composed piece of music too!

7:30pm Berio Folk Songs @ Clun Valley Music, with Elizabeth Lynch, Pelleas Ensemble and Friends
Clun Valley Music presents an evening of music from the award winning Pelleas Ensemble and friends. A trio of flute, viola and harp, the Pelleas Ensemble’s captivating vitality and dynamic performance has gained accolades from the Royal Philharmonic Society, Royal Overseas League and more. They will be joining forces with rising-star mezzo soprano Elizabeth Lynch, a member of the National Opera Studio to perform a seminal work of the 20th Century, Luciano Berio’s Folk Songs. Also including works by Debussy, Purcell, Jolivet and Benjamin Graves, the concert promises to be a colourful and theatrical evening of music.
