Classic Additions Shortlisted for Best Small Business in Shropshire

Local Shropshire company, Classic Additions Limited, is excited to have been shortlisted for Best Small Business in the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards 2019, in the category with 6 to 20 staff.

Making significant business decisions over the past two years, Classic Additions has worked hard to maintain a sustainable future for the business with bold investment planning and expansion. Adrian and Sam Boyes, together with the support of their team, have shaped and transformed their business.

Classic Additions Limited, established in 1989 by Adrian Boyes and his Father, is a reputable car cover company in the automotive industry, selling covers all over the world for the past 30 years.

Adrian Boyes, Classic Additions owner said: “I’m so proud of our team, it’s wonderful to be joining other fantastic Shropshire Businesses in the Shropshire Chamber Business Awards 2019, especially as we commemorate our 30th year. There is so much to celebrate in business locally and it’s a real honour to have been shortlisted.”

A Shropshire Chamber Business Awards judge commented: “Once again I have been impressed with the quantity and calibre of nominations received.  There are so many Shropshire businesses demonstrating growth and success alongside investment in developing their people and their products.”

Classic Additions is proud to have achieved 30 years in business and looks forward to continued development in the future. 2018 saw substantial investment in the restructuring and reconfiguration of the existing warehouse with the use of racking to facilitate increasing demand.  Continued inward investment is planned for 2019 with the design and planning stages underway to expand the existing office space.  As the business continues to expand additional employees are required and warehousing development will increase the capacity to meet product demand.

The next step as an award finalist will see Classic Additions assessed by 3 independent judges with winners being announced on Friday June 14th at the International Centre in Telford, an evening which promises to be an exceptional celebration of Shropshire business
