1000’s turn out for Hope House Hospice Plant Hunters’ Fair

Over one thousand passionate planters and gardeners flocked to the British Ironwork Centre on Sunday, for the company’s first plant fair. With a total of £1478.00 raised for Hope House Children’s Hospices and an unprecedented amount of support, the event was a tremendous success.

The Centre played host to the some of the most highly respected nurseries in the country as well as small specialist growers. Each exhibitor was exclusively invited, allowing us to offer those in attendance a truly great variety of plants, lovingly grown by experts.

The fair proved to be an inspiring day for all visitors who were able to browse the unique plants and specialist nurseries, while enjoying the brilliant and iconic surroundings of the metal safari trail. After exploring the grounds and wonderful choice of horticulture on offer, visitors finished with a hot drink & delicious choice of cake at our lovely garden terrace café, while trying to resist the new selection available at the luxury chocolate counter.

With onsite blacksmith demonstrations, falconry displays, not to mention a chance to buy plants grown and sold by knowledgeable specialists the fair offered the perfect family day out for all ages.
