Worldwide photo walk comes to Shrewsbury

Worldwide photo walk comes to Shrewsbury. Saturday, October 13 is worldwide photo walk day, photographers in more than 150 countries around the world will be out and about taking photographs in more than 1000 different events.


For the first time in its five years of running a photo walk is taking place in Shrewsbury. Starting at the Shrewsbury Coffee house on Castle Street the walk will last approximately 2 hours before finishing up in the Darwin Centre. Along the way walkers will have opportunities to photograph many of the interesting buildings in Shrewsbury.


The event is free to enter simply go to the website to sign up there are 50 places available on each walk. The Shrewsbury walk starts at two o'clock. Photographers of all levels are welcome whether you use a smart phone or DSLR. There are prizes for the best photograph taken on each walk and overall prizes for the best photographs taken during the whole event.
