New Shrewsbury Brass Band

Shrewsbury Brass Band formed in 2012 and is a traditional brass band based in Shrewsbury and is a registered charity. As well as the main band, there is also a training band to help us bring through players for the future.  The band is pleased to support many local charities and organisations by performing concerts. Recently the band has raised funds for Mayors Charity, Muscular Dystrophy UK, and Hope House Children’s Hospice.

The band is made up of 35 members and conducted by Shrewsbury musician Steve Pritchard-Jones. Steve is well known in the brass band world as an adjudicator and conductor and very proud to be the first conductor of Shrewsbury Brass Band.

Shrewsbury Brass Band is a community, self-funded, non-contesting and unsponsored band and at present fund raising to buy new instruments, uniform and to develop the training band.
If you would like further information about the band or wish to book the band please see the website www.shrewsburybrassband.co.uk for contact details.
