Caring for Carers.

Please help the Shropshire RCC’s Carers Appeal to raise £50,000 to support Shropshire’s “hidden army of family carers.”
There are over 30,000 people caring for a loved one in Shropshire. Elodie Home, Fundraiser said, “This hidden army of people provide round-the-clock care for a relative, neighbour or close friend, helping with every day tasks such as dressing, bathing, eating, shopping or attending medical appointments, even though they may be elderly or in poor health themselves.

We have been providing support for family carers throughout the county for 12 years and have a team of specialists who assist those who struggle to cope with the sometimes overwhelming responsibility of looking after another person.
This team of support workers offer expert advice, information and a listening ear.  Anyone of us could become a carer at any time to someone young or old and in fact statistics show that 3 out of 5 of us will.
We would love help with our fundraising, to support our Appeal please call us on 01743 237888 or email [email protected].  We would love to hear from you.
