One of Shrewsbury’s newest estate agents is celebrating its first anniversary and its own part in a nationwide success story.
EweMove Sales and Lettings Shrewsbury was launched last summer by husband-and-wife team Greg and Bev Sloane and they have since enjoyed a busy first year.
Their Shrewsbury-based business is the local branch of the national EweMove franchise network which has netted numerous industry awards and expanded at a phenomenal rate since the brand launched as a franchise group in 2013.
The Shrewsbury branch is the first EweMove franchise to launch in Shropshire. Nationally the group’s current tally of 85 branches is set to increase to 100 by the end of this year.
EweMove specialises in offering high levels of customer service. Unlike other agents, who have hundreds of clients on their books, Greg and Bev handle only 30 to 40 clients at any one time to maintain a customer-centred service.
Nationally EweMove has scooped gold, silver and bronze accolades in The Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards for the past three years. It is also the UK’s top-rated estate agent on customer review website Trustpilot.
“We've had a great first year and exceeded our own expectations. We’ve sold houses in Shrewsbury and around Shropshire and couldn’t be happier with what we’ve achieved so far,” said Bev.
“Many of the properties we take on come from word-of-mouth customer referrals and many of our clients have switched to us from other agents. We've had some fantastic reviews which has made all the hard work worthwhile.”
