World Cinema: An Introduction

As part of Borderlines Film Festival, Wem Town Hall is hosting a special event Tomorrow, led by visiting industry professionals, focusing on World Cinema. The session will feature clips from a culturally diverse selection of films from across the globe and Kate Taylor from the ICO will talk about her role with the Independent Cinema Office, the UK’s leading authority on cinema exhibition, film festivals and the worldwide film industry.

The session will be of interest to anyone studying film, media, English, or those who are interested in understanding more about the diversity of cultures around the world. Suitable for ages 13 upwards.
