Shropshire duo invest in the county town with their second branch of Toggs and Cloggs.

Anthea Gould and Ceri Slater will be opening the doors to their second shop on Saturday 15th March (27 Princess Street) on the edge of the Square behind House of Fraser.
Their first shop started eight years ago in Newport and has evolved from a children’s shoe shop - to a destination not only for little feet but also ladies shoes, children’s and ladies clothes, gifts and toys.

They have been searching for the right location in Shrewsbury for a few years and feel that this opportunity is perfect.
The shop provides them with scope to extend their offering – they will be introducing clothes brands such as Mistral Clothing for ladies and Frugi ethical organic clothing for children.
Alongside top quality school shoes from Start-rite - will sit Lelli Kelly, Ricosta and Inch Blue. They are bringing some new names to Shrewsbury, plus their excellent service and experience in shoe fitting for children.

The Mayor of Shrewsbury, Jon Tandy, will officially open the new shop at 10am on March 15th - with the support of the town crier, Peter Taunton. There will be opening offers and competitions to enter, plus collaborative activity with Eat Up, Shrewsbury.
Anthea and Ceri see the potential for developing their business in the county town - this is good news for independent retail in Shrewsbury.
