Shrewsbury Ladies Circle summer fete

Join Shrewsbury Ladies' Circle at their Summer Fete for an afternoon of old-fashioned fun, with traditional carnival games, prizes to win and an appearance from ZooLab where you can get up close and personal to a range of animals! There will also be local craft and produce stalls providing the opportunity to purchase items made locally.

The event will take place on Saturday 20th July from 1pm until 5pm at Monkmoor Scout and Guide HQ, Upton Lane, Shrewsbury SY2 5RR and is free admission.

ZooLab, over many years has successfully delivered imaginative animal handling workshops to children all across the UK and Northern Ireland. The care of their animals and the quality of the workshops are paramount to the workshops which they run. Join us for a fun, exciting and safe workshop suitable for everybody. Sam, a member of Shrewsbury Ladies Circle, will be able to introduce you to a corn snake, a Chilean rose tarantula, a tree frog and a fancy rat plus many more!

The event will be a great afternoon for the whole family and money raised will be donated to the Severn Hospice.

Ladies Circle is a club for women aged between 18 – 45 and there are many active groups around the UK and Northern Ireland. The emphasis is on meeting new people, having fun and supporting and raising money for local and national charities. Shrewsbury Ladies Circle was successfully re-established in 2010, but prior to that had been active in the area since 1956. We meet twice a month and currently have around 20 members.

If you have any queries or if you are interested in having a stall at the event please contact [email protected].
