Shrewsbury Green Guide Website

A new on-line version of Shrewsbury Friends of the Earth's award-winning Green Guide will be launched on Saturday, 1st June, in the Market Square Shrewsbury.
Friends of the Earth are celebrating the compilation of the new Shrewsbury Green Guide, which is based on their popular paper versions of the past couple of decades.

Judy Coleridge, the editor, says ‘We’ve had some Lottery funding, and with lots of informative volunteers, we’ve put together, with the help of The Web Orchard,  a comprehensive guide of organisations and companies. Some are local and some are further afield, but all of them can help us in Shrewsbury to become greener in the way we live. We can also get inspiration from what others are doing, locally and nationally.

There are lots of sections: on recycling of course, and also food, gardening, travelling and much more.  In the Square on Saturday, people will be able to have a look at the new website, which is at www.shrewsburygreenguide.org.uk to discover new ventures and new ideas"

If you think your organisation or company could be in the Guide, then you can email Judy on [email protected] or phone her on 01743 364157.
