Shrewsbury Flower Show Garden Competition

Secondary school Students across Shropshire are being invited to design a garden for the 2015 Shrewsbury Flower Show.   The winning design will be built over the 2 days of the show alongside the Professional Show Gardens and the successful students will have hands on experience by helping with the construction of their design

The theme of the Show Gardens is ‘Climate Change’, so it is an opportunity for young people to research and come up with the ideas to enable them to create something that meets this brief.

Floral Chairman, Briony Cooper said ‘The Shropshire Horticultural Society is keen to encourage and support future Horticulturalists and hope being involved in the Flower Show will help develop this interest with the students by taking part in this educational and fun project’

If any school is interested in taking part please contact Quarry Lodge or register their interest online at
