Pure Telecom toasts Tanners contract

Two Shropshire companies are toasting the launch of a new business partnership.

Shrewsbury-based Tanners Wines, one of the country’s leading wine merchants, has just awarded a two-year communications contract to Pure Telecom.

All 60 landlines and 35 mobile phones at Tanners, which has five branches, will now be provided by Pure Telecom, which has its head office on Shrewsbury Business Park.

“We have a strong commitment to working in partnership with other Shropshire businesses and were impressed by Pure Telecom’s excellent reputation for customer service so awarded them the contract,” said James Tanner, managing director.

“The two big advantages for us as a firm are that we will have one county-based point of contact for both our landline telephones and mobiles and we are seeing a reduction in our telecommunication costs,” he added.

Matt Sandford, managing director of Pure Telecom, said that he was pleased to add such a prestigious name as Tanners to his customer portfolio, commenting: “It’s great to be working with another leading Shropshire company. James and I enjoyed a glass of Tanners champagne to toast the start of the contract.”

Pure Telecom will also be helping Tanners to take advantage of O2 Priority Moments which will enable any O2 user in the area to take up special offers at their stores by downloading the free Priority Moments app to any smartphone.

The award-winning firm, which specialises in all aspects of mobile and landline communications, has just recruited two new members to its senior sales team in order to expand its business even further.
