Open morning planned at school

An open morning is planned at an independent Shrewsbury school next week.

Prestfelde School, which educates around 270 children aged from three to 13 drawn from all over the county, will open the doors of its London Road premises on October 11.

Prestfelde registrar Caroline Williams said that all prospective parents and pupils were welcome.

“Visitors will be taken on a guided tour of our 30 acre site and will be able to view our excellent facilities, including our enchanced library which has new seating areas and ipads. The open morning will provide a friendly, informal way to visit the school and chat to our pupils and teachers,” she said.

The tour will end with refreshments in the school music room where visitors will be able to chat to headmaster Mark Groome.

Anyone interested in attending should contact Caroline Williams on 01743 245400.
