Nock Deighton Welcomes Rise in Buy-to-Let

Today’s announcement that the second quarter of 2013 has seen Buy-to-Let lending hit its highest level for nearly five years has been welcomed by Michael Nettleton, Director of Shropshire-based Nock Deighton. “Around 40,000 Buy-To-Let mortgages were advanced in the three months to June, up 33,000 from the first quarter of the year and this is certainly positive news for the whole market, as it reflects a continued confidence amongst lenders.”

“The lettings market remains buoyant and continued demand for properties from landlords is positively impacting on the whole property chain, indeed the improved confidence its generating from lenders will help mortgage applications across the spectrum, from first-time buyers to second steppers, those looking to re-mortgage and investors.”
