New sales hub to create jobs

One of the best-known names in the Shrewsbury house building sector has announced plans for a new sales office in the town.

Galliers New Homes will launch its state-of-the-art marketing hub in Bellstone next month, and is looking to recruit local people to fill several new posts.

Andy Gough, sales director of Galliers, said that this was an exciting development as the hub would be the most technically advanced house sales office in the region.

“It will provide house hunters with an innovative and interactive experience for purchasing properties, including those off plan, and has been designed to reflect a minimalistic environment, featuring white clean line interior fittings and a showcase island unit with the latest cutting-edge touch-screen technology,” he explained.

Visitors will be able to view plans for Galliers’ new developments at Darwin’s Wood on The Mount and Holgate Drive in Sundorne, as well as sites at Hadnall and Llanymynech.

“The decision to invest provides a blueprint for the way in which new-build homes will be presented and sold in the future. The high definition technology shows prospective purchasers what each development and property will be like when completed. It also enables visitors to compare sites and property styles, all from one convenient location.

“Special features include a virtual 3D tour of selected developments and property styles, in addition to interactive site plans, location information, specifications and options. The technology is also linked into the sales data, providing accurate real-time information on pricing and availability.

“We pride ourselves on always looking ahead, so we’ve brought living in the digital age to life to showcase our latest developments, allowing prospective purchasers to make more informed decisions and buy off plan with greater confidence,” he added.

Galliers Homes, which was founded in 1987 by one of Shrewsbury’s best-known businessmen Graham Galliers, who died in October 2013, announced early this year that it had been acquired by Staffordshire-based Cameron Homes who are making a substantial investment in the company.
