Networking at Henry Tudor House

A networking event at a Shrewsbury restaurant has been hailed as a success.

The lunch was hosted by Henry Tudor House, off Wyle Cop, and attended by around 30 businessmen and women from throughout the county.

Libby Williams of organisers Shropshire Chamber of Commerce said that this was the first time it had arranged a lunchtime meeting in Shrewsbury.

“It was an informal get-together but very useful in terms of people being able to make new business contacts.

“We were pleased with the attendance and everyone was interested to learn more about the history of the very impressive Henry Tudor House.

“The chamber is expanding its programme of regular networking events throughout Shropshire, enabling more and more members to discuss business ideas and opportunities with each other.”

PR consultant Jocelyne Fildes, who hosted the lunch for Henry Tudor House, commented that it has been an enjoyable event.

She said: “I was pleased to be able to introduce the fantastic facilities of Henry Tudor House to a new audience and hope that this is the first of many such chamber of commerce events to he held here.”
