National shortlist award for county firm

Shropshire’s premier chauffeuring company, White 7 of Shrewsbury, is celebrating after being shortlisted for a national industry award, competing against rival firms from towns and cities across the whole of the UK.

This is the first year that the Professional Driver body has held its national Quality, Service and Innovation Awards, which are sponsored by BMW, Mercedes and Audi, and White 7 has been nominated as a finalist in the marketing category.

QSi Awards spokesperson Paul Webb said: “The marketing award recognises ideas and innovations in promoting and publicising a business and White 7 are worthy finalists in this category.”

White 7 joint managing director Alan Bowyer added: “In only our first year of operation, this nomination from our peers is especially rewarding and true testament to our innovative marketing ideas, our top class fleet and choice of highly qualified professional drivers.

“We were nominated because we offer such a wide variety of experiences, rather than the usual ‘A to B’ journeys only, with our services ranging from weddings to corporate functions and social occasions.

“Our business policy is designed around our own unique brand to provide safety, security, quality and core values. Our fleet of white BMW vehicles stand out from the usual silver or black cars and our fine dining scheme has been acclaimed by top restaurants throughout the county.

“We are now looking forward to attending the glitzy Champagne awards ceremony in London later this year and hopefully to bringing the top accolade back to Shropshire.”
