Mother’s Day Lunch at Country Estate

Stately home Weston Park is serving up Mother’s Day lunch in the opulence of the newly restored Victorian Orangery. Head Chef Guy Day will prepare an indulgent three-course menu, whilst mums can sit back, relax and enjoy the views out to the Italian Broderie Gardens and sprawling Shropshire countryside beyond.

After lunch guests can take a stroll around the Capability Brown landscaped parkland and formal gardens to complete their country house experience. There will also be a chance to see the newly refurbished Drawing Room, a project which has been undertaken by renowned interior designers Colefax & Fowler.

Guy Day says, “The Orangery is the new jewel in Weston’s crown and makes a dramatic yet warm and welcoming setting for families to relax and dine together. As we await the coming of spring, my menu will feature the fresh and delicate flavours of the season with something to tantalise all tastebuds. The traditional lemon tart with clotted cream ice cream has to be my favourite!”.
