Maynard’s Farm opens seasonal pop-up café

Maynard’s Farm is celebrating the start of winter with a pop-up café. Spend a lazy Sunday enjoying breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea with family and friends.

A selection of Maynard’s Farm award winning products will be offered - including their Great Taste gold star bacon. Freshly baked bread will be available from Craig the Baker - perfect toasted with the Maynard’s Full English or dipped in the Parsnip and Apple Soup.

Maynard’s Farm is also marking the start of the festive season by serving their new Christmas sausage. The Devil on Horseback Sausage is a blend of prunes, smoked bacon and pork - a modern twist on a traditional favourite. The selection of products on the menu will be available to buy from Maynard’s Farm Shop throughout the day.

Maynard’s Farm - award-winning success

Summer 2013 has been full of successes for Maynard’s Farm. Three products achieved a coveted one gold star at the Great Taste Awards. This is a fantastic achievement as only 33% of the 10,000 that entered received gold. At Ludlow Food Festival Maynard’s Farm also received gold for their Oak Smoked Treacle Ham and silver for the Farmhouse Pork Sausage. This has been topped-off by their recent achievements in the BPEX awards - where Maynard’s Farm won two golds, silver and a bronze!

Fiona Cunningham from Maynard’s Farm commented; “The pop-up café is the perfect chance to spend time with family and friends. With the colder weather arriving - we thought that we would put on a warming and hearty menu. We are so pleased with the awards that we have received during the summer and we are looking forward to sharing our winning products with customers on the 13th October.”
