Mayfair to hold complimentary health event!

Mayfair Community Centre in Church Stretton are holding a ‘Look After Yourself’ event on Saturday September 21st, to enable visitors to find out more about and also try various Complimentary therapies.

With therapists practicing kinesiology to acupuncture, Bowen technique and acupressure, the day promises to be interesting and informative, with taster sessions and displays from Mayfair’s therapists throughout the day.

During the event there will also be a range of activities to watch, including belly dancing, yoga and zumba.

Sophie Eades, Centre coordinator said “we are so excited about this event; it is going to be an amazing day as many of our therapists will be having taster sessions throughout the Centre, and there will be displays of activities happening during the day as well – hopefully visitors will get involved and have a go at yoga, belly dancing or even zumba”.

Part of Mayfair will also be turned into a retail venue, selling a wide variety of goodies to tempt.

Sophie continued “with free entry, we are hoping that lots of people will come along and have a taster – whether it is an Indian head message, Bowen technique, or even Plant Spirit Medicine”.

The Mayfair café will be open to serve food throughout the day, and the creche will be open too! If you haven’t visited Mayfair before, this would be a great opportunity for you to come and find out more about the centre and maybe even sign up for one of our autumn courses.

The event is on Saturday September 21st and runs from 10am – 3pm. Entry is free to this event, so come along and enjoy an interesting day at Mayfair Community Centre.
