Marion's retirement from the Vicarage Nursing Home

On Friday we gathered in the dining room to say a fond farewell to Marion Tarver our assistant cook. After 15 years service Marion decided it was time to ‘hang up her pans’ to spend more time with her family, have days out with friends and of course – enjoy her beautiful garden… albeit 13 years after her official retirement date!!!

We have all benefited from her wisdom, guidance and shared her wonderful wit and humour. Matron thanked Marion (seen here 2nd right) for her continuous hard work over the years and her loyalty to the Vicarage Nursing Home. Marion is really going to be missed so much by us all. So we wish her a long and happy retirement but hopefully she will find time to come back and see us.
