Local musician launches debut album

Shropshire singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist, Joe Seager, has released his debut album, Parallel Lives.

The album, produced by Jim Williams of Wow and Flutter Audio in Oswestry, contains an eclectic mix of songs, written and performed by Joe, with help from his brother, Ben Seager.

The launch of the album was held at Henry Tudor House in Shrewsbury on Monday 22 July in front of a sell out crowd.

Joe, who lives in Shrewsbury and attended school in Church Stretton and Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, is a firm favourite at gigs around the county, and performs regularly at bars and pubs, as well as weddings and private functions.

Speaking of the album, Joe said:

"Parallel Lives is the result of many years of hard work and it is extremely exciting to have the finished product available and to be able to launch it here in Shrewsbury. I am incredibly proud of the album and how it sounds and hope listeners enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it"

"I have to thank all of those involved in creating the album, which has been a real team effort, with special thanks to all of my fans who come to watch me perform live - it is fantastic having such a loyal and supportive local following"

Joe will be selling copies of Parallel Lives at gigs. Further information as to where Joe will be playing can be found on his
