Lanyon Bowdler Ranked by Chambers & Partners

Shrewsbury law firm Lanyon Bowdler has been recognised as a Top Level firm in the Midlands for family law, personal injury and clinical negligence, by legal directory Chambers & Partners.

Kay Kelly, who leads the clinical negligence team and Neil Lorimer, head of the personal injury team, have also been identified as Top Ranked Lawyers by the guide.

Chambers & Partners quotes the clinical negligence team as “An excellent firm in the region that punches well above its weight.”  The family team are praised for their “Utmost professionalism, providing steady, rational guidance and support in what is a highly emotional and upsetting process."  One of the strengths the personal injury team is recognised for is client service, with the directory stating "They're super-efficient and they're very user-friendly.  They always have a very good relationship between the client and both the department and the individual solicitor.  They're very good at keeping clients informed."

Managing partner David Battisby said “This is fantastic news, not only are Kay and Neil recognised as Top Ranked Lawyers, associate Emma Broomfield has been identified as an ‘Associate to Watch’.  For these departments to be placed at the highest level for the Midlands shows there are highly experienced talented lawyers away from the major cities.”

Chambers have been ranking the best law firms and lawyers since 1990.  Their results are based on extensive research carried out by editors employed in London, which includes interviews with clients of the firm and professional contacts such as barristers and experts.
