The Jingle Ball – Making Cancer A Thing Of The Past.

A Shrewsbury Police Officer, Sarah Jane Chaloner, is running the 2014 London Marathon in aid of The Christie Cancer Research & Treatment hospital. The Christie is largest cancer hospital in Europe and offers hope to over a quarter of all UK specialist cancer cases.  Sarah herself received life saving treatment for cancer at the Christie in 2007.

To raise funds in support of their bid to make cancer a thing of the past, Sarah Jane is holding a festive dance at the Lord Hill Hotel on Saturday 28th December.  The highlight of the evening will be a show from two amazing tribute acts to stars Robbie Williams and Olly Murs.  Tickets cost just £10 each.  The night will include a raffle for the chance to win a Virgin Balloon flight for two and other outstanding auction prizes generously donated by local businesses.  Tickets are available from the Lord Hill Hotel or contact Sarah directly on 07734 909323.  Anyone who like to make a charity donation can check out Sarah`s marathon endeavour at www.virginmoneygiving.com/SarahJaneChaloner.
