Speakers range from local historians & young archaeologists to representatives from English Heritage & Oxford Archaeology North. The event will feature the screening of a film by local film maker Katherine Hannaford of the recent community archaeological dig. The Friends will also be offering those attending the event a guided tour of the Flax Mill.

Friends’ board member and Archives Project Manager, Penny Ward will be leading a guided walk from the Dana to the Flax Mill, followed by a Tour of the Mill, departing at 2pm.

Fay Bailey, Development Officer, Friends of the Flaxmill Maltings, said:
