Existential psychotherapist, writer and Zen Buddhist monk returns to Shrewsbury College for workshops

Manu Bazzano, is due to return to Shrewsbury College next month to deliver a one-day workshop for Counsellors, Psychotherapists and anyone with a keen interest in therapy.
The seminar will include a mixture of theory, Zen meditation, paired and group experiential work and exercises.
Shrewsbury College hosted the first unique seminar with Manu Bazzano, an existential psychotherapist, author and ordained Zen Buddhist monk, back in September 2013, with participants travelling from as far as London to attend.
Naomi O’Hanlon, 40, who is currently studying Counselling at Shrewsbury College, said: “It was a really thought provoking and insightful day. I would definitely encourage people to attend one of Manu’s seminars.”
Spaces for the seminar on Saturday, March 15 have sold out, so Manu has agreed to hold another seminar on Sunday, March 16, from 10am – 4pm, when a few spaces are still available.
Helen Orton, Curriculum Leader for Care & Counselling, said: “Our aim is to provide good quality continued professional development for Counsellors in the local area. It is a real coup to have someone of Manu’s calibre coming to talk to our students and fellow counselling professionals.”
