Discover Sunnycroft this April

Sunnycroft, the National Trust house in Wellington is offering visitors more this April.

Starting on Saturday 5th April with Temponilla, Sunnycroft is welcoming local choirs to Sing Spring themed songs in the Billiard Room at 1pm. Sunnycroft also has one of the most significant collections of late 19th century wallpaper on its walls and on selected Mondays in April Guides will be offering a detailed look at the papers and a chance to learn a bit more about them.

Assistant House and Visitor Services Manager, Megan Cullinan says: “We have been discovering more about the importance of the wallpapers at Sunnycroft over the last two years and we are excited to be able to share some of the information gleaned from National Trust experts. We want to encourage those who have already been to Sunnycroft to come back and see something different, so from singers in the house, to Sunnycroft Easter at the end of the month, we hope to bring the house to life!”

Sunnycroft will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 10.30am to 5pm, with last admission to the House at 4pm.  Normal admission charges apply, free to National Trust members and under 5s. For further details on events visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/sunnycroft or call the property on 01952 242884.
