Competition Winner with designs on Seal

Sam Ashton, winner of the Morris Property Competition to design branding for its new Battlefield commercial site, has finished his work experience with Shrewsbury’s PR and  design agency Seal, as part of his prize which included a £700 cheque towards his design course. 

The competition was open to Graphic Communications students at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College and the decision wasn’t an easy one, but in the end it was agreed Sam was the worthy winner.

Sam’s work experience as a trainee creative designer was overseen by Seal’s Marketing Director Mike Pritchard who said: ‘Sam was very involved and developed some exciting ideas. Having him with us here allowed him to work on some real briefs for brands and gave him an insight into the tight deadlines we work to.  We all thought that the experience was worthwhile and were pleased to hear that he found it enlightening.  As sister company to Morris Property’s it was great to play our part in the competition and Sam was a welcome injection of fresh ideas for our creative team.”

Sam will be using the £700 cash prize to assist him on his design course going forward.
