Acoustic Boutique will boost sound in town

A new shop specialising in sound systems has opened just in Shrewsbury.

Three new full and part-time jobs have been created at the shop, with David Whittaker, who has wide experience in audio, being the main contact at the store.

“We are very pleased to launch the first Acoustic Boutique in Shrewsbury - it is an exciting addition to the town’s great range of independent retailers - and are delighted to be have secured premises in The Square ” said David.

“The shop will appeal to people looking for music options, whether they are wired, wireless or Bluetooth, or who need enhanced sound for their televisions with stereo or surround sound systems.

“In fact if customers are considering anything from single room solutions to multi-room wireless audio then we have products to suit.”

David explained that Bose was now back in town after a three-year break.

“Bose is a very innovative company which is continually investing in research and developing new additions to its range so we are really excited to be bringing it back to Shrewsbury,” he said.

Three staff members from the Bose UK headquarters in Kent attended the opening of the shop. Senior manager Sally Reeves commented: “It is a pleasure to see our brand returning to Shrewsbury and we wish the Acoustic Boutique every success – we are sure that with such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team they will thrive in this excellent location.”

Kirsten Henley from the Shrewsbury Business Improvement District added  “The Square is continuing its transformation as an even better place to shop, eat and enjoy the culture and entertainment in the town. It is great to see stores investing in Shrewsbury and the opening of Acoustic Boutique will be a fantastic addition to the town’s shopping offer”.
