Shrewsbury author celebrating

A Shrewsbury author is celebrating after receiving news last week, that his second novel is to be stocked at Bookshrop bookshop in Whitchurch. Neil Rathmell describes the novel, Vive le Mole! as a grown-up sequel to the traditional childhood classic The Wind in the Willows.

The story is one of love and intrigue - set in the south of France. Vive le Mole! follows on from Neil’s previous release, An Englishman (and his mother) Abroad.

Speaking of his latest novel, Neil comments ““Anyone who enjoyed reading the story of Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad when they were young, will certainly enjoy this.” Neil states the book is just what you need to cheer yourself up on a cold winter’s evening and it will make an ideal Christmas present for parents and grandparents alike.

The book is now available from Bookshrop, the popular book retailer located in Whitchurch town centre. Vive le Mole! is priced at just £7.99 and it can be purchased from other bookshops, through mail order via Neil’s own website - or as an e-book from Kindle.
