Ladies in Business Annual Netwalk

On a dull September morn’, though thankfully with no rain
Over twenty ladies gathered, with one simple, common aim
A ‘Netwalk’ up Lyth Hill, the Ladies in Business annual meet
Getting us up off our behinds and firmly on our feet

I, myself, had reservations, being six months pregnant now
But Sue Fitzmaurice was true to her word and kept it leisurely somehow
‘Panoramas without pain’ were promised, and that’s just what we got
Before a tasty lunchtime meal that will not easily be forgot

The Horseshoes in Dorrington is to be highly recommended
A charming place to rest our legs when our adventuring had ended
I had delicious fish and chips, though every meal looked mighty fine
When the time came for our desserts, well they were just divine

Some fantastic friendships reaffirmed, and some new contacts made
Invaluable to say the least, for the modest price we paid
For some very enjoyable exercise, followed by a well-earned rest
Thank you Ladies in Business for networking at its best!
