Shrewsbury Green Fair

This Saturday (6th July 2013) why not come down to the Shrewsbury Green Fair to chill out with some family friendly fun for all. You can hear some funky folk music, whilst the kids can be occupied with some eco-friendly arts and crafts, you can grab yourself a Fairtrade cofee and a slice or orgasmic organic cake and have a wander around and find out all about environmental issues.  There will be over fifty different stalls to browse selling all sorts of green products from locally reared beef and organic fruit and veg through to energy saving products and lots of free advice about how you can save money and tread more lightly on the planet.

The annual Green Fair event has been running for almost ten years now.  It is organised by Shropshire Wildlife Trust each year to help promote the wide range of environmental activities which take place in Shrewsbury from local campaigns and pressure groups, to local recycling and bus services through to businesses who are installing solar panels.

The event is held at the Wildlife Centre, opposite the Abbey on Abbey Foregate from 10am to 4pm and entry is free.
