Shrewsbury Christmas Fayre

This weekend those nice folk at the Shropshire Wildlife Trust are putting on a massive eco-friendly seasonal event.  The event (on Saturday 23 Novemeber 2013 from 10 am to 4 pm) is down at the main visitor centre on Abbey Foregate near Shrewsbury town centre.  There will be over 30 stalls all setting out their festive wares with a sparkling array of craftwork and gifts. There will be demonstrations of traditional rural crafts and for families why not try your hand at making robin decorations from natural and recycled materials. Scrumptious homemade seasonal refreshments will also be available throughout the day.

So come on down, bring the family and bag yourself a Christmas present, entry is free all day.  And its not too late to get involved in this years event, if you are an artist or crafter and are interested in having a stall to sell your wares or would like to demonstrate a traditional craft they would love to hear from you.
