Professor Elemental gig announced

Renowned as being one of the finest artists to bring the muscial genre of Chap-Hop to the stage, nationally acclaimed musician Professor Elemental is returning to a Shrewsbury town centre arts venue next week.

The successful advocate of the Chap-Hop style will be performing on April 20 at the Hive.

The unique gig will feature live performances from support act Mullet from Shrewsbury, in addition to The Extraordinary Gentleman who originate from both Shrewsbury and Manchester. Providing superb fresh talents for the audience to savour before the Professor himself takes to the stage for the main event.

Professor Elemental comes from Bristol and is known across the country with fans for his unusual way of delivering hip-hop with lots of imagination and a steam-punk twist. His performances combine comedy and cabaret, to create a stunning blend of lively rap-music with an overall gentlemanly style.

Habib Malik-Mansell of the Hive said "Tickets are already selling well for this event which promises to be a fantastic night. Professor Elemental went down a storm with local music fans when he performed last year and we are therefore pleased to host him again for this further show. It's always positive to provide an opportunity for other acts to perform too and both Mullet and The Extraordinary Gentleman should also be worth seeing."

The Professor Elemental show at the Hive is taking place on Saturday 20th April at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £10 in advance and can be booked by visiting the Hive in person at 5 Belmont or by calling 01743 234970. For more information about other events at the venue visit http://www.hiveonline.org.uk/whats-on/
