Easter Bazaar is on the way

A Shropshire arts venue has today revealed plans for a further vintage themed craft fair, following on from a series of successful events hosted last autumn. The Hive Music and Media Centre in Shrewsbury is now organising an Easter Bazaar which will take place in March. Staff at the venue are encouraging independent traders, artists and crafts-people from across the county to exhibit at the event.

Taking place on Saturday March 30, the Easter Bazaar at the Hive promises to offer a diverse selection of vintage inspired stalls, celebrating and showcasing the best of Shropshire's creative and resourceful small businesses. Previous Bazaar events have drawn in crowds of over 200 people and offered visitors the opportunity to browse stalls selling vintage clothing, greetings cards, childrens books, locally produced furniture, artwork, photography, jewellery, handmade gifts and lots more.

Stalls at the Easter event are available priced at £10 for a standard space and £20 for a double space. Habib Malik-Mansell from the Hive said "The Centre certainly comes alive for our seasonal Bazaar events and we are pleased with how our first series of events went last year. As the hosting venue, we ensure that our stall prices are kept at a minimal level, to help make it as affordable as possible for traders to exhibit". He added "Our Festive Bazaar back in December even saw a jewellery business from Cannock join us - and it's really positive for us to see interest in the Hive's programme coming from further afield across the West Midlands".

Organisers are particularly keen to encourage new traders to come on board for the Easter Bazaar. The stall application form can be downloaded by visiting http://www.hiveonline.org.uk/bazaarevents/ For more information contact the Hive on 01743 234970 or email [email protected]
