Galliers to launch new Shrewsbury show home

Leading Shropshire housing developer Galliers Homes is about to launch its latest show home in the county.

The firm will open the property at its popular Saxon Grove development in Sundorne, Shrewsbury, on March 17.

The house is a ‘Carrington’ design which features a main bedroom with built-in wardrobes, a family bathroom and two other bedrooms.

Saxon Grove is a collection of 18 stylish detached and semi-detached three-bedroom properties, all including a fitted bathroom, master bedroom and a contemporary kitchen with selected appliances.

“We launched the development last September and have sold over half of the homes here already so it is proving to be a popular place to live,” said Andy Gough, regional director of Galliers Homes.

There are three different house types, all with their own distinctive features, with selected plots featuring a garage or en suite shower room.

Located adjacent to The Shrewsbury Club, the development has excellent access to a well-equipped gym, tennis courts and a swimming pool.

Shrewsbury town centre is approximately three miles away and the site is located near to a number of schools with ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ OFSTED ratings, including the prestigious Belvidere School, less than three miles away.

As Saxon Grove is located on the A49, it allows for a straightforward commute throughout the region.

Current prices are between £187,500 to £227,500 and Galliers is offering a ‘First Time Buyer Package’ which includes flooring throughout, a curtain package and assistance towards legal fees.

In addition, first time buyers do not have to pay stamp duty and the government’s Help to Buy scheme is available, offering a 20% loan to put towards purchase.
