Hey Dolls offer vintage twist

A collaborative trio of local artists and designers from Shrewsbury have recently joined forces for an exciting creative venture, which sees them offering a winning combination of vintage inspired craft workshops and parties.

Jenni, Dulcie and Jamila aka "Hey doll" are now based in Shropshire and each individual artist has been crafting away for years, studying Art, running workshops, exhibiting, sharing ideas and creating personalised gifts for family and friends.

Inspired by Vintage craft techniques, fashion plates, magazines and fabrics, the group decided to form in late 2011 with the aim of delivering creative craft parties & and workshops together.

Speaking of the ventures current success and demand, one of the artists said "Hey Doll believe strongly that cake and craft, are a winning combination. Our vintage inspired creative craft workshops are aimed at those looking for an alternative, fun and creative hen party, birthday, team building activity or even baby showers!"

Hey Doll are looking forward to participating in their next event which is part of the Shropshire Green Fair, taking place at Shropshire Wildlife Trust in Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury. The event on 7th July is free to attend and will be taking place between 10am and 4pm.

The Shropshire Green Fair will offer woodland craft demonstrations, local craft and eco stalls, plants, organic gardening, recycling, energy efficiency, a mini farmers' market, live folk bands and home-made refreshments, in addition to musical instrument-making for children.
